Kelpie Cottage
My wife and I have stayed at the cottage twice now and have loved every minute. The area is stunning and the locals are very friendly. Linda, an artist is a very welcoming person and her companion Tess the dog is a delight. They have made us so welcome we feel we have known then a very long time. The cottage wants for nothing and is a home from home and shows some of her work that she has done herself. If you want piece and quite then this is best place to go. We will be going back in the near future to visit our friends Linda and Tess and again enjoy the sites of Skye.

April 2016 Stay at Kelpie
My wife and I have been wanting to stay her for along time after hearing so many good reviews. Standard of accommodation is excellent. Linda and Tess greeted us on arrival and showed us where everything was. Lambing was in full flow and Linda was happy for us to watch and I even helped with a lambing. Can't fault the location. Magnificent views of Loch Mor, Neist Point Light House only 5 mins away, Oisgill Bay Half hour walk. If that wasnt enough Linda has her own craft shop on site with a great choice of gifts and art work. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kelpie. Will definitely be back!!

October 2017 stay at Kelpie
Being so close to Neist Point,Kelpie Cottage was a very convenient option for this keen, but limited fisherman. The cottage was cosy, well presented and all standard services were at hand.Linda went out of her way to offer advice and guidance which proved useful during my stay and she has a great store of local knowledge. I felt very secure in the cottage during a couple of stormy weather days. I will certainly be returning- thanks again Linda

Just returned for our 4th visit in 7 years!! involving a 1100 mile round trip.(23-30th September 17)
Again we were not disappointed - Golden Eagle and White Tailed Sea Eagle made their appearance. The cottage, Linda and Tess are their usual wonderful selves. Its a real wildlife pleasure to visit Kelpie. Skye Weavers and Jann's chocolate café (Dunvegan)is well worth a visit
I did bring a mountain bike this year - be aware that the slope near the top is 19.2%. Once clear the back roads are stunning, but lower your gearing. Thanks for a wonderful week, even if I did let the Rams eat your flowers! We hope to see you again soon. Chris & Yvonne
